Individual Assignment 1

The things that interest me about this class so far are learning how information systems will help me with my future career.  My goal is to be a hospital administrator, and from the readings I know that information systems will help me to be successful in my future career. I am also interested in knowing that I will an active role in the management and use of information systems, and how I need to use them to become a better employee. With the skills that I learn from this class about information systems and how to properly manage and use them, I know that those skills will be beneficial for my future career.

An idea that interests me for the team project is an operations process at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital. This interests me because I want to have a future career as a hospital administrator, and I know that this team project would help me understand that position better. I am also interested in any project that has to do with UPMC.
